DRAGAN MARKOVIĆ

Dragan Marković was born on July 30, 1965 in Smederevska Palanka, Serbia.

Education:

Mr. Marković is a graduate from the Secondary School of Economics in Mladenovac, after which he attended and successfully graduated from The High School for Internal Affairs in Belgrade.

He continued his studies at Belgrade University, Faculty of Defectology, majoring in Prevention and Re-Socialisation of Minors, graduating as a specialised pedagogue.

He completed post-graduate studies at Belgrade University, Faculty of Law Specialized Studies for countering organized crime, corruption and organized crime.

Career:

In 1992, Mr. Marković was employed by the the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Security Department, which later turned into The Security-Information Agency (BIA), where he worked on different operative tasks and where he also had several managerial appointments. During 2008, he assumed the position of one od BIA Director's Advisor.

2008 - 2012
Appointment in the Ministry of lntemal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, to the position of the Secretary of State.

2012
Appointment in the Security-Information Agency, on the position of the Advisor to the Director.

Appointment to the position of Deputy Director of the Security-Information Agency.

Mr. Marković is married and a father of two sons.
